Multi-Township EMS has a very selective hiring process. It includes a three step process conducted by a hiring committee. This process utilizes different tools assessing you as an employee. The three steps included are:
- Written test at your certification level. If applying for a Paramedic position this will also include a pharmacology based test.
- Scenario based test at your certifcation level. This will include a live or simulated scenario in which you will be evaluated on your treatment of the patient.
- Oral interview will be conducted by the hiring committee.
The committee will then review the process results and make their recommendation to MTEMS administration. The recommended applicants will then have a final interview with the administrative staff to determine a final decision. This process is meant to give us the best possible view of an applicant. It also gives us the opportunity to build a solid relationship between the employee and Multi-Township.
